LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. – As has become tradition, the Lake Elsinore Storm baseball season will begin with the 12th annual Sip ‘N Swing celebration prior to Opening Night. This year’s party will take place on Sunday, March 25 from 12-4pm as the Storm organization invites guests of all ages to indulge in an afternoon at The Diamond.

Fans can take part in on-field batting practice with a chance to showcase their skills. Behind-the-scenes stadium tours will give the Lake Elsinore faithful an inside look at the clubhouse, home dugout and luxury suites, as well as the latest and greatest ballpark improvements. The stadium’s Diamond Club restaurant will be open for food and drink specials, while revelers can also savor a Beer & Sausage Fest in the first base picnic area.

“We’re excited to kick off our 25th season with the return of Sip ‘N Swing,” said Raj Narayanan, Storm General Manager. “It’s a great way for families and baseball fans to enjoy a day at the ballpark as we gear up for Opening Night.”

Those attending can take photos with the Storm’s lovable mascot, Thunder the green dog, and participate in launch-a-ball for a chance at a VIP grand prize (season tickets, ceremonial First Pitch, $2,000 value) and more. The FunZone will be free for kids 12 and under and the Storm Cellar, the official souvenir store of the Storm, will be open for fans to check out and purchase the newest team merchandise.
