Cheer: Temecula Pop Warner Wins 1st Place at the JAMZ National Championships for the Second Year in a Row

The Temecula Valley Pop Warner Bears won First Place at JAMZ Nationals for the second year in a row and 3rd time 4 years. The Cheer team consists of 30 talented girls ranging from 6th-8th graders. The team had 16 new girls this year.

Temecula’s team motto this season was “Faith Over Fear”. The girls have been growing and performing together as a solid unit beginning in July. Some of the girls have never cheered before, but developed into tremendous athletes by the end of the season.

“We are so proud of all their accomplishments.  Most of all, they overcame adversity, difficulties and they learned how to persevere and be an encouragement to each other” said Head Coach Kristin Juve.

The National Championship Junior Varsity Division Team consists of: Leiana Abat-Rapada, Grace Barclay, Rylie Borge, Kiley Branum Asha Cecena,Milan Colonna, Samantha Cox, Taylor Crawford, Abigale Elliott, Sienna Fergerson, Presley Ford, Emma Grimwade, Sydney Hayes, Candice Joelson, Jenna Juve, Calyn Kajula, Lillia Landsberger, Ella Lippen, Delanie Loveridge, Sybellen Loveridge, Morgan Mikkelsen, Bree Padgett, Sadie Rysewyk, Hunter Stackpole Tatyana Stewart, Hailee Stoner, Amanda Teachenor, Sophia Valencia Brooke, and Atencio Aya Sabado

The team is coached by Kristin Juve and Jackie Stoner. The assistant coaches are Holly Cox, Star Stackpole and Patricia Mikkelsen.

“The girls had more grit and grace than I have seen in a team before. I am going to miss all of our 8th graders that are moving on to high school. It has been quite the season” added Coach Juve.
