The universe is balanced once again.  Murrieta Valley made things right again as the Nighthawks extracted revenge against Montebello 13-9 in Wednesday’s CIF Southern Section Division 3 Water Polo semifinals. It was a controversial call in last year’s overtime mach that eliminated MVHS from the finals. The ruling still stings and lingers…

The Nighthawks were led by senior Ian Fleenor who scored seven goals, and Murrieta Valley cruised to a 13-9 win over the despised Oilers. Hudson Rawlings scored three goals and two assists,  Casey Lynton, Hunter Ramaekers and Josh Benitez each added a goal for the nighthawks. Murrieta Valley goal keeper Collin Winter came up with  12 saves.

Murrieta  Valley will play Capistrano Valley for the Division Championship title on Saturday.
