College Soccer: Cal State San Bernardino Springs Into the National Rankings at Number 14

The Coyotes were Selected for First Time since 2010

The CSUSB men’s soccer team used an historic week to jump into the NCAA United Soccer Coaches Top-25 this week, at the number 14 spot, only behind Azusa Pacific and Cal State L.A. in the region.

The Coyotes were last ranked in 2010, when they went as high as number three. Last week the Coyotes defeated No. 13 Simon Fraser on the road 1-0, snapping their 33-match home unbeaten streak. Before that they defeated MSU Billings 1-0.

Pedro Arellano was named CCAA Player of the Week for scoring both goals.

The Coyotes are back in action on September 19 as they travel to San Rafael to face Dominican University.
