The UC Riverside Women’s Volleyball Team (5-12, 1-5) dropped a three set match to Long Beach State (5-12, 2-3) Saturday night in a match that was much closer than the final score indicates. The third set was as close as it could be, but The Beach would again capitalize taking it 25-23.

Freshman Amarachi Osuji led the way with her second straight double-digit match tallying 12 kills. Freshman Isabella Scarlett was truly efficient notching her nine kills at a swing rate of .471. Sophomore setter Dejah Dade added 31 assists and sophomore Renata Bath gathered eight digs.

UC Riverside will now hit the road to face a tough opponent in Hawaii next Friday.
