On Friday, March 9, 2018, at about 12:45 a.m., an officer patrolling Stagecoach Park, located at 2125 Stagecoach, Corona, checked on a car in the parking lot with three occupants (all City of Corona parks close at 10:00 p.m.).
Two of the occupants were on probation. A probation search of the car resulted in the discovery of a loaded 9mm handgun that had been previously stolen in a residential burglary in San Bernardino County.
Wendy Sanchez, a 22 year-old Corona resident, was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm and carrying a loaded firearm. She was later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in downtown Riverside with a $10,000 bail amount.
Gabriel Guttierrez, a 22 year-old Riverside resident, and Eric Guzman, a 20 year-old Corona resident, were arrested for possession of a concealed firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, being on probation and in possession of a firearm, possession of a large capacity magazine, and a probation violation.
They were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in downtown Riverside with a $50,000 bail.
