Murrieta native Rickie Fowler closed out his day in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida with two consecutive birdie putts of 40 and 25 feet to win the Honda Classic Tournament over the weekend. Fowler finished 8 under, and his four shot victory didn’t come easy on the final day.
He knocked one of his puts into a sprinkler hole and put another ball into the water en route to his fourth victory of his PGA Tour career. Fowler won $1.1 million of the $6.4 million purse.
Gary Woodland and Morgan Hoffman were both 8 under and tied for second place. Chad Collins was third and Jjhonattan Vefas fourth.
