Good Eats: Dine like a V.I.P. & Discover the Chef’s Secret Recipes at the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival

This Exclusive Fine Dining Experience is on June 2 & 3 During the Food and Wine Pairing Demonstrations at the Festival

TEMECULA, CA – Experience exclusive fine dining with perfectly paired food and wine at the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival. June 2 and 3 during Food and Wine Pairing demonstrations at the Festival, local executive chefs will create tasty treats on stage while explaining their culinary process. It’s a bit like a private invitation to Emeril Live as a taster.

At the Festival’s foodie event, however, guests taste menu items prepared for four hand-selected wines. The four-course meal includes an appetizer, salad, main course and dessert.

Wine makers are on hand to describe the varietal they have paired with the menu and the process required to produce the perfect wine. Guests will learn to judge wines by their color, aroma, and taste during the sip as well as the aftertaste.

Restaurants represented during the tastings include: Bluewater Grill paired with wines from Europa Village, and LeGrange paired with Wiens Family Cellars. For those who don’t obtain a coveted seat at the table, wine tasting in the wine gardens offers selection of wines poured by Southern California Wineries.

18 wineries have already registered at press time include Akash Winery, Beach House Winery, Briar Rose Winery, Casa Tiene Vista Vineyard, Curry Vineyard, Coyote Oaks Winery, Emerald Creek Winery, Europa Village Wineries, LeGrange Winery, Lorenzi Estate Winery, Mahogany Mountain Winery, Maurice Car’rie Winery, Monte de Oro Winery, Thornton Winery, Twin Oaks Winery, Van Roekel Winery, Wiens Family Cellars and Wilson Creek Winery.

Wine tasting is $2 per taste or $8 per glass of wine. Guests wanting a premium taste, will enjoy the Winemakers Reserve Tasting Package, where you receive eight 1-ounce pours of award-winning wines, in a specialty souvenir glass.

Pouring hours are: Friday 3-9 p.m., Saturday 11 noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
