The New Asian Menu Items are Available Tomorrow
TEMECULA, Calif. – As one of 13 restaurants inside the expansive Pechanga Resort Casino, Bamboo stands on its own merits for offering authentic Asian dishes. Bamboo’s chef, Yingcong He, saw something the menu needed, and this September, rolls out new, even more traditional and comforting Asian fare for customers.
Guests who dine at Bamboo after Sept. 3 will find added noodle bar dishes, additional Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese fare, and the new inclusion of Filipino specialties. Chef He also presents a few more seafood and side dishes to the two-page menu.
Dim sum selections include leek cake dumpling, shrimp dumpling (har gow), lotus leaf (sticky rice chicken), shrimp sui mai, pork and shrimp sui mai, BBQ pork bun and custard bun. Prices for each range from $5.50 to $7.50.
New items to the larger Bamboo menu include ginseng chicken soup, Typhoon or Singapore-style crab, Ca Kho To (caramelized braised fish fillet in coconut juice), lemon fish, roast pork belly with Chinese broccoli, jap chae (sweet and savory stir-fried glass noodles with carrots, mushrooms, onions and sesame seeds), jokbal (slow-braised pork hock), jeyuk bokkeum (Korean stir-fried pork belly) and more.
Many of Bamboo’s dishes are large enough to share among several people. That way, everyone at the table can enjoy more of the new flavors, according to Chef He.
“These new changes to Bamboo’s menu show our dedication to our guests,” said Chef He. “We want them to feel like this is a really comfortable and friendly place where they will find something to eat they’d find from their home country, in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or any other locale where authentic Asian food is prevalent.”
