This Fundraiser Supports the Lydia Project & Rebirth Homes
Women Organizing Women, Inc will be to hosting the Inland Empire’s Annual Desserts and Coffee Competition Expo. This year’s delicious event will also the launch their new women’s support program, the Lydia Project.
The Dessert and Coffee Competition Expo is a Community Dessert and Coffee Bar. The delicacies will be comprised of uniquely sweet, luxurious creations and perfectly brewed coffee by local Pastry Chefs and Baristas. Come out to taste and vote for your favorite dessert and coffee. Local Pastry Chefs and Baristas will be competing for the cash prizes and “Bragging Rights” for the Inland Empire.
There will be several prizes awarded. Judges will select a first place winner for the Professional Pastry Chef, another for the top Amatuer Pastry Chef and the best Overall Barista. There is also a “Peoples Choice” Award.
This fundraiser will support the Lydia Project AND Rebirth Homes. Rebirth Homes offers adult women survivors of human trafficking physical, mental, emotional and spiritual support while providing a safe home.
The Lydia Project is to aide and assist women who desire to own or currently own a micro-business andr grass-root nonprofit organization. Their goal is to help women in overcoming barriers by destroying the cycles of co-dependence to welfare systems and the like.
Price: $25 adults, $15 kids ages 4-11 yrs, FREE-kids ages 3yrs and under – Parents MUST accompany all children
