The Wolfpacks’ Amazing 2016 Season Come to an End

With 2 outs, the Monarchs’ Kelli Godin and Neli Casares-Maher knocked in 3 more with back-to-back singles.
“Autumn did what she usually does, keep the ball on the ground” said Great Oak Coach Davis Mercado. “This is a hard infield, and the balls bounced through. That was a tough inning to bounce back from.”
Sophomore Sydney Presley came in to pitch 3 innings of relief and Paulina Johnson one for the Wolfpack. Presley gave up the final 2 Monarch runs Emma Clark scored in the fourth on Yaritza Felix’s single and Hannah Wessel was driven in by Nayomi Jones in the fifth.
