HS Baseball: Temecula Valley Beats Beaumont 8-1 in Game 4 of the Beaumont Tournament

The Golden Bears Advance To play Beaumont again for the Tournament Championship on Saturday

Temecula Valley won it’s fourth straight game of the season Wednesday 8-1 over previously unbeaten Beaumont High School. The Golden Bears are 4-0 so far in the 2018 season.

Senior Ethan Clough started the game for the Golden Bears and pitched 6 innings. He got the win and ended Beaumont’s undefeated winning streak. Clough, a Long Beach State commit, only gave up 1 hit. Senior Carson Frazier came in to close out the Cougars and pitched one inning of relief, striking out 2 batters.

Clough helped himself at the plate as well. The senior pitcher ended up with 3 hits in 4 at bats with 2 runs scored and one batted in. Junior catcher Cole Urman went 3 for 4 with a double and scored.

Matt Whitmore, a senior outfielder knocked in 2 runs for Temecula Valley.

TVHS Golden Bears will be playing Beaumont at Beaumont High School for the tournament championship game this Saturday at 11am.
