“Last night’s win was the result of the work the young ladies have put in over the last few years” said Linfield Christian coach Derrick O’Neil. “They have paved the way for Linfield Lady Lions basketball and set a new standard of excellence”!
The Lions offense started slow, as Linfield Christian grabbed a 10-7 lead in the first period. The Lions offense cranked it up in the second period, as Moran hit four 3-pointers as Linfield outscored the Cavaliers 23-9 to take a 33-16 lead at the half.

Queen Ballers of the Valley is what I call them. They have now built a throne here at Linfield which is a benchmark for girls basketball”.
The victory gives the little school from Temecula it’s third CIF Southern Section title this school year. Earlier this season, the Lions won the Division 12 Football Championship and the Girls Volleyball team won the Division 7 CIF SS Crown.
