Sophomore Kryztian Walton Scores 20 Points to Lead the Lions Over the Fighting Lancers

Linfield Christian was dominant in Friday night’s Ambassador league game against Western Christian, The Lions pounced to a 20-5 lead in the first period and never looked back. It was 41-16 and Western Christian never really had a chance.

The Lions slowed the pace in the second half, outscoring the Fighting Lancers 31-14 and won their second Ambassador league victory of the season against 9 losses. Linfield Christian improved their overall season record to 6-14.

Kryztian Walton led the Lions attack with 20 points. The sophomore also grabbed 8 rebounds in the game. Point guard Enyi Liu scored 16 points, John Henry 11 and Sebastian Gonazales 8 more. Simeon Burns added another 7 while Kade Spaulding scored 6 while Riley Leach and Tyler Bruneel each had 2 points.

 

 

Christian Martin was the leading scorer for the Fighting Lancers with 8 points. Ian Klock added 7, Blake Ward 6, John Gonzales 3 and Nick Depweg 2 points for Western Christian.

Linfield travels to San Bernardino tomorrow to battle Aquinas.Western Christian is home and will face Ontario Christian,
