Rounding out the Top 10 finishers in yesterday’s Boys race were Eric Nunez (Vista Murrieta), Marod Jackson (Chaparral), Edgard Villa (Vista Murrieta), Payton Olsen (Murrieta Mesa) and Wesley Bowen (Great Oak).
The Wolfpack Girls scored 30 points to win their match. Vista Murrieta placed second with 56 points, Chaparral third, Murrieta valley fourth, Temecula valley fifth and Murrieta Mesa was sixth.
The top ten in the girls race were: Michelle McIntosh (Great Oak) in first place followed by Maya Ambroziak (Great Oak), Michaela Reynolds (Vista Murrieta), Alison Ciling (Murrieta Mesa), Zoe Jarvis (Chaparral), Kendalyn Green (Chaparral), Alyssa Ungrady (Great Oak), Sarah Workman (Great Oak), Paige Haynes (Vista Murrieta) and Amelia Strahan (Vista Murrieta).
The Great Oak victory is even more amazing when you consider that Coach Doug Soles was resting his top seven girls and boys runners for the Clovis Invitational on Oct. 10th, at Woodward Park, Fresno.
