HS Football: CIF Southern Section Week 1 Polls Released


Heritage Moves to Number 4 in Division 2 after a Big Win Over Great Oak

The CIF Southern Section Polls were released today and a couple of local High Schools were effected. Murrieta Valley fell out of the Division 1 Top10 and Rancho Cucamonga leapt into the polls..

Santiago beat he Nighthawks 30-28 and improved to the number 5 spot in Division 4.

Sunbelt Champion Heritage jumped from tenth to number 4 in Division 2. They rolled over Great Oak 42-0 Friday night, The Wolfpack fell a spot to number 10 in the Division.

Murrieta Mesa remains ranked 10th in Division 4, They beat Rancho Christian 48-0. The Eagles fell a spot in Division 12 to number 2.

Paloma Valley, under new Head Coach Tom Tello Stays in the number 3 spot for Division 5. The Sunbelt League’s Elsinore remains and in the 10 spot in their Division. Temescal Canyon got the boot from the top ten of Division even though they rolled over Vista del Lago 63-0
