HS Football: Heritage-Upland CIF SS Playoff Game Postponed after Heritage Player Collapses


The Patriots and Scots will Make Up the Game Tonight at 7pm

The excitement of Friday night’s first-round CIF-SS Division 2 Playoff game between Heritage and Upland was interrupted by terror Friday night as a Patriot player collapsed before the game.

Paramedics immeadiately performed CPR on the athlete.  Heritage sophomore Dylan Dickey  (44), who plays on the line and also as a linebacker for the team was then taken to a local Hospital for treatment.   Heritage decided to postpone the game and Heritage Head Coach Kraig Broach went to the hospital with his player.

Dickey was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the main campus of Loma Linda University. He is in stable condition at this time.

The game was postponed till Saturday at 7 p.m. at Upland.
