HS Football: Paloma Valley will be Home to Battle Lakeside Friday Night


The Wildcats are Undefeated and Focused on Winning the Sunbelt Title in 2016

The Wildcats are now 6-0 and ranked Number 2 in this week’s CIF Southern Section Division 5 Polls. Paloma Valley is focused on taking the Sunbelt league Title from perennial Champion Heritage.

The Lancers are 5-1 after losing to the Patriots 50-6 last week. Lakeside quarterback Seth Armstrong leads the Lancer attack. The junior has thrown for 763 yards and 13 touchdowns. Junior Adrian Burt is the go-to back for Lakeside with 792 yards on 110 carries and 13 touchdowns. Seniors Gustavo Morales, Louis Rizo and sophomore Sale Lamositele anchor the Lancer defense.

The Explosive Wildcats offense has scored 280 points in their first 6 games. Paloma Valley junior quarterback Chase Nolan has passed for 1713 yards and thrown 21 touchdowns. Nolan spreads the ball around to seniors Blake Moore, Jayden Lundy and juniors Seth Carvalho and Andre Kirkpatrick.

14563543_679624818851875_8833189437289770485_nRunning back Corey Maddux is the workhorse for Paloma Valley on the ground with 1066 yards gained on 85 carries. Maddux has 14 TDs on the ground and has another 2 in the air. The senior also has caught 9 passes for 237 yards.

The Wildcats defense is tough, punishing and hard to score on, Juniors Steven Bradshaw, Damien Torres, seniors Maleek Baranauskas, Dylan Rodriquez and Caiser Leboss anchor the defense for Paloma Valley.
