Gabby Stoll Leads the Bronco Attack with 22 Points

Vista Murrieta wasted no time dispatching the Mustangs from Roosevelt High School Thursday night. The Broncos jumped out to a 17-11 lead in the first period and never looked back.

Vista Murrieta would outscore the Mustangs in every period, 21-16 in the second, 20-15 in the third and an amazing 21-2 in the final frame. The Broncos totally dominated every aspect of the game.

Gabby Stoll was the Broncos offensive leader with 22 points. She scored 15 of those from the Charity Stripe. Stoll ended up going 15 for 16 at the free throw line.

Imari Cooley added 16 points for Vista Murrieta. She went 4 for 4 at the free throw line and grabbed a team high 10 rebounds. Maitland Kingsley scored 14 points and freshman Lexi Mead added another 11. Kingsley was 5 for 6 and Mead 6 for 6 at the Charity Stripe. You don’t want to foul the Broncos.

oosevelt drops to 9-5 this season and the Broncos improve to 10-2. The next scheduled game for Vista Murrieta is the Southwestern League Opener, The Broncos face Temecula Valley on Tuesday, January 9 at 5:15 pm.
