HS Girls Tennis: Murrieta Valley Defeats Redlands 14-4


The Nighthawks Focused on Winning their 9th Straight Southwestern League Title

Murrieta Valley has won the Southwestern League Championship for the last 8 years, and Head Coach Trent Warren and his team are focused on capturing yet another title this season. The Nighthawks are undefeated with a 4-0 record in league play. Murrieta Valley has also reached the CIF finals the last 3 seasons.

thumbnail_img_1467MV improved their record to 12-1 overall with a dominant 14-4 victory over Redlands Tuesday. The Nighthawks got Singles Sweeps from Natalie Duffy 6-3, 6-1, 6-0 against the Terriers. They also had Doubles Sweeps from the teams of Alana Andrews & Kelsey Lajom 6-1, 6-0, 6-0 and Elise Seyarto & Ashley Duncan 6-3, 6-1, 6-0.

The Nighthawk girls tennis is improving with each match thanks to the strong competition and well prepared teams in the Southwestern League” said Coach Warren.

Murrieta Valley will face off against Murrieta Mesa at home at 3:15pm today.
