HS Girls Volleyball: Eight Area Teams Make the CIF Southern Section Top Ten Polls this Week, October 8

Linfield Christian is Still Ranked Number 1 in Division 7 & Rancho Christian is Third in Division 8

The latest CIF Southern Section Polls were released Monday, October 8th, and eight High School Girls Volleyball teams have made the Top 10 in their Divisions this week.

Linfield Christian is still ranked first in Division 7 for the fifth consecutive week. The Lions are 22-4 overall and 9-3 in the Ambassador league. Linfield takes on arch rival Aquinas today.

Rancho Christian remained in the third spot in Division 8. The Eagles now have a record of 19-7 and are undefeated at 8-0 in the South Valley league. They play Carnegie Schools of Riverside today.

Also in Division 8, Calvary Murrieta jumped up a spot to number 7. The Warriors are 15-5 overall and 10-1 in South Valley league play. They face California Military Institute today.

In Division 1 and 2, three Southwestern league teams continue to shine. Vista Murrieta climbed to the tenth spot this week. Temecula Valley is ranked twelfth and Great Oak is thirteenth.

The Broncos play Murrieta Valley, the Golden Bears is at Mesa and the Wolfpack faces Chaparral tomorrow.

Paloma Valley stayed at the fourth spot this week in Division 5. The Wildcats are 21-6 and are tied for the Sunbelt league crown with Heritage. Paloma Vallley will play Riverside Poly today.

In Division 9, Nuview Bridge maintained it’s fourth place ranking again this week. The Knights are 17-8 and will play Calvary Murrieta Wednesday.
