Linfield Christian is Ranked Number 1 in Division 7 & Rancho Christian is Second in Division 8
The latest CIF Southern Section Polls were released Monday, September 24th, and eleven High School Girls Volleyball teams have made the Top 10 in their Divisions.
Rancho Christian is ranked the number 2 team in Division 8 for the second week in a row. The Eagles now have a record of 12-5 and are undefeated at 4-0 in the South Valley league. They play Temecula Prep today.
Also in Division 8, Santa Rosa Academy bounced back into the fifth spot this week. The Rangers beat Temecula Prep but lost to Rancho Christian last week. Calvary Murrieta hung on to the eighth spot in the division 8. The Warriors are 8-4 and play San Jacinto Valley Academy today.
In Division 1 and 2, three Southwestern league teams shine. Temecula Valley shot into the Polls for the first time this year and is ranked tenth after beating Great Oak, Vista Murrieta and Chaparral last week. The Golden Bears lost to unranked Murrieta Valley yesterday.
In Division 3, another Southwestern league team shines. Murrieta Mesa lost it’s grip on the ninth spot and starts at number 10 this week. The Rams are 11-4-2 and will face Temecula Valley tomorrow.
Heritage broke into the top 10 in Division 6 last week, taking the tenth spot. In the latest polls, the Patriots have improved in the rankings and moved up a spot to ninth. They are 13-5 with victories over Rancho Verde and JW North last week.
In Division 9, Nuview Bridge improved from seventh to fourth in the Top 10 rankings this week. The Knights are 10-5.
