HS Girls Volleyball: Louisville Stuns Temecula Valley in a 4 Sets Upset


The Royals Put an End to the Golden Bears’ Amazing Season 21-25. 25-22. 23-25. 22-25

thumbnail_dsc_4016Louisville High School from Woodland Hills upset Temecula Valley with a 21-25. 25-22. 23-25. 22-25 four set victory Thursday night. The loss eliminated the Golden Bears from the 2016 CIF Southern Section Division 2 Girls Volleyball Championships.

The Golden Bears had been ranked fourth in the final CIF SS Polls earlier this week and finished the season with a 24-5 season. Temecula Valley was crowned the new Southwestern League Champions with a perfect 10-0 record.thumbnail_dsc_4067a

The Golden Bears put up a fierce battle but could only manage to win the second set 25-22. Freshman Madi Endsley led Temecula Valley with 19 kills against the Royals. Senior Kali Greathead and junior Peyton McBride both had 12 kills for the Bears.

14717258_1087557901362955_6841954487436608434_n-1Sophomore setter Jordyn Amoy had 45 assists in the loss, and fellow sophomore Jasmine West came up with 22 digs. McBride and Endsley both had 15 digs apiece.

The Royals advance to play Marlborough Saturday in the Quarterfinals.
