HS Girls Volleyball: Nine Area Teams Make the CIF Southern Section Top Ten Polls this Week, October 1

Linfield Christian is Ranked Number 1 in Division 7 & Rancho Christian is Third in Division 8

The latest CIF Southern Section Polls were released Monday, October 1st, and eight High School Girls Volleyball teams have made the Top 10 in their Divisions this week.

Linfield Christian still is ranked first in Division 7, the fourth consecutive week they have topped the polls. The Lions are 20-4 overall and 7-3 in the Ambassador league. Linfield takes on Woodcrest Christian tomorrow.

Rancho Christian is dropped a rank from number 2 to the third spot in Division 8. The Eagles now have a record of 12-5 and are undefeated at 4-0 in the South Valley league. They play Santa Rosa Academy tomorrow.

Also in Division 8, Santa Rosa Academy slid a spot and is currently ranked sixth this week. The Rangers are 11-11 and beat Temecula Prep last week. Calvary Murrieta hung on to the eighth spot in the Division 8. The Warriors are 13-4 and play Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School today.

In Division 1 and 2, three Southwestern league teams continue to shine. Temecula Valley shot into the Polls for the first time this year and is ranked tenth. The Golden Bears play Vista Murrieta tonight.

Vista Murrieta stayed at the eleventh spot this week. Great Oak also hung on to the number 12 in the division polls this week. category. The Broncos are 16-5 and the Wolfpack is 15-5. Murrieta Valley also comes in the the 20th spot in Division 1 & 2.



Paloma Valley stayed at the fourth spot this week in Division 5. The Wildcats are 17-3 and defeated Valley View last week. Paloma will play Elsinore tomorrow.

In Division 9, Nuview Bridge maintained it’s fourth place ranking this week. The Knights are 11-6 and play Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Wednesday.
