HS Girls Volleyball: Twelve Local Teams Make the CIF Southern Section Polls this Week, September 4

Ten local High School girls volleyball teams have bee ranked in the top 10 in their respective CIF Southern Section Divisions this week. Two teams, Calvary Murrieta was listed as the number 11 team and California Military Institute the 14th  in their Divisions.

In Division 1 and 2, Vista Murrieta is ranked third. The Broncos are 6-1 and lost to Mater Dei, the number 1 team in the Division, 2-0 in the Dave Mohs Tournament this weekend. Great Oak has the number 12 spot. The Wolfpack is 6-3 and fell to Vista Murrieta 3-2 on August 29th.

In Division 3, Murrieta Mesa is ranked second behind Village Christian. The Rams are undefeated at 3-0 so far this season. Elsinore is in the tenth spot in Division 4. The Tigers are 5-2 but have a rival match with Temescal Canyon today.

Paloma Valley comes into week three ranked sixth in Division 5.  The Wildcats are 11-2 and will play Yucaipa tomorrow. In Division 6

Heritage is ranked eighth. The Patriots are so far 6-2 for the season.  In Division 7, Linfield Christian is ranked eighth. The Lions have won 14 out of 16 games and will face Arrowhead Christian today.

Rancho Christian is the number 3 team in Division 8. The Eagles record is 5-3 and they will travel to Anza to take on Hamilton today. Santa Rosa Academy is ranked tenth in the Same Division. The Rangers are 6-6 and will play Rancho Christian on September 11th. Calvary Murrieta, which has a 3-4 record comes in the 11 spot.

In Division 9 Nuview Bridge is ranked sixth. The Knights are 7-4 and will play California Military Institute next. The Rough Riders are in the 14th spot in the same division.
