HS Girls Water Polo: Murrieta Valley & Vista Murrieta to Compete in the America’s Finest City Tournament this Weekend


Thirty Two of the Top Teams in Southern California will be Playing in Four Pools in San Diego Starting Friday

Murrieta Valley and Vista Murrieta will head to San Diego Friday to compete in the America’s Finest City Girls Water Polo Tournament this weekend. They will be among the 32 Top Teams in Southern California seeking the Championship Trophy. Temescal Canyon, Santiago, King and Riverside Poly are the other Inland Empire teams headed to the tournament.

The Vista Murrieta Broncos

Murrieta Valley is coming off a 2-3 performance last weekend in the Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions. The Nighthawks are led by Randi Reindhart, Megan Falcon and offensively. Morgan Jones is in the net for MV. The Hawks are seeded number 4 in the tournament and will face Temescal Canyon in the opening game at Cathedral Catholic .

The Broncos are led by their “Tritfecta’… Isabel Rack, Amira Van Buren, and Katy Peterson,Their goal keeper is Jacelyn Geddes. Vista Murrieta was on fire this past weekend and won the Five Counties Championship, beating Yucaipa 11-9 in the final, The Broncos will start the tournament against La Serna.

Murrieta Valley, Royal, Bonita, Vista Murrieta, La Serna, Rancho Bernardo, Esperanza, Temescal Canyon
