HS Soccer: Temecula Valley’s Jennifer Guinn Selected as the “California Girls Soccer Coach of the Year”


The Golden Bears were the CIF Southern Section Champs & Won the Division 2 State Title

Temecula Valley Girls Soccer coach Jennifer Guinn has been selected as the California High School Girls Soccer “Coach of the Year” by the California Coaches Association. Guinn led her Golden Bears first to the Southwestern League Championship and then won the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Title. She capped off the amazing year by winning the State Championship in her Division.

Quinn has been coaching the Golden Bears for the past five seasons. She grew up in Temecula and is a Temecula Valley Alumni. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University where she played and began her coaching career. She started coaching at 18 years of age with high school players and then moved to club at the age of 22. She found coaching to be her calling and has been been at it for the last 23 years. Quinn holds a Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education

“It is an honor to be given this award” said Quinn. “I would not have had this success without the girls’ that battled on and off the field this past season in our program, my coaching staff, the parents that supported their athletes, and all our Golden bear fans. This has truly been an amazing experience all around. “

Quinn will receive the award from the California Coaches Association at the Crowne Plaza Resort in San Diego Saturday on June 16.
