Murrieta Valley High School has named Will Picquelle the Head Varsity Softball Coach. Will has been coaching softball for the past 17 years at both the travel ball and high school levels. He brings excitement and a wealth of knowledge to our program” said Athletic Director Darin Mott. “His knowledge of the game, and his passion for kids and their development…both athletically and academically really showed in the interview process.”

My goals as the new head coach for MVHS are simple. To build a program that is competitive and strives to bring the best out of the student athletes” said Picquelle. “I want to provide a positive and energetic learning environment for our softball players who are looking to learn and play at the most competitive levels. I have great expectations to reach Championship level play and bring a positive and winning tradition to MV.

Picquelle has an impressive track record. He took Santa Rosa Academy from 8th to 3rd in league in his first season as coach. He then took the Rangers and went undefeated in their division and won the league playoff Championship. He repeated the feat his second season.
