HS Tennis: Temecula Valley, Murrieta Valley & Great Oak Win Southwestern League Matches

The Golden Bears are 7-0 and in First Place, Nighthawks Right Behind at 6-1

Temecula Valley-Murrieta Mesa

12119066_547718318708792_855088395092315646_nThe Golden Bears remained perfect in the Southwestern League as they crushed Murrieta Mesa 16-2 and kept a firm grip of first place. Temecula Valley improved to 13-2 overall and 7-0 in league play. The Rams are 1-6 in league.

Temecula got singles sweeps from Lindsey Gelinas and Mackenzie Adams. Doubles teams of Marissa Lamonte-Kaya Gelinas and Nicole Colica- Delany Jones swept the Rams teams.

Murrieta Valley-Vista Murrieta

The Nighthawks slipped past Vista Murrieta with a 10-8 victory to keep pace with the Golden Bears in the Southwestern League standings. The Nighthawks are 14-2 overall and 6-1 in league play.12141558_779180698859469_348416516603100892_n

The Nighthawks Jovana Kuljaninwon her singles match and the Murrieta Valley Doubles team of Kelsey Lajom and Ashley Nishimoto were victorious.

Great Oak-Chaparral

The Wolfpack downed Chaparral 13-5 to improve to 9-0 overall and 3-4 in Southwestern League play. New Coach John Gonzales’ Pumas remain winless in league.12106716_779181075526098_5732315693520194361_n

Great Oak won the doubles sweeps as the teams of Kendall Leander-Chandni Madon and Emi Thomas-Haley Vicino  were both victorious.
