HS Volleyball: Chaparral Improves to 3-0 with a Sweep of ML King

The Pumas Pour on the Power and Win 25-15, 25-23, 25-15

Chaparral won its third consecutive game to start the 2017 season. The Pumas swept the Wolves in three straight games 25-15, 25-23, 25-15. It was the first loss of the season for ML King.

Kaili Downs led the Puma attack. The senior registered 11 kills,14 digs, and 5 blocks. Liz Johnson had 7 kills and 13 digs, Denise Sy and Vianna Allen came up with 10 digs apiece.

Sylvia Ianeselli had 7 kills while Sophia Torres had 12 assists, and Hailey Carter 13 assists for the Pumas. Kenzie Guimont and Brie Downs each had 5 blocks.





Chaparral has an away non-conference match at Rancho Cucamonga today at 5:45p. The Cougars are undefeated this season at 2-0.

ML King will play Murrieta Valley at home on September 14th. The Nighthawks are also red hot oth an undefeated 3-0 record.
