HS Volleyball: Paloma Valley, Linfield Christian & Rancho Christian Advance to the 2018 CIF Southern Section Championship Games!

The Eagles, Wildcats & Lions will play in the Championship Games on Saturday, November 3rd

The CIF Southern Section Girls Volleyball Championship Playoff Semifinals were played Saturday night and all 3 local High Schools teams won to advance the the 2018 Championship Games in their Division.

In Division 5, Sunbelt league Champion Paloma Valley battled to a four set victory over Viewpoint High School. The Wildcats took the match 25-21,18-25,27-25 and 25-22 and will face Ontario Christian in the Semifinals. Junior Jayde Shelton was named player of the game after recording 13 kills and 3 blocks.

Rancho Christian traveled to Ojai and beat Villanova Prep Saturday night. The Eagles dominated in their semifinal game, sweeping the Wildcats 25-22, 25-7, 25-17. Rancho Christian will face the Heritage league Co-Champions Faith Baptist in the Championship game.



In Division 7, Linfield Christian rolled past Ocean View High School in 4 sets in the semis. The top seeded Lions cruised to a 25-15, 25-20, 25-18 victory. Paige Williams and Devin Sivertson led the Lions attack against the Seahawks last night. The Lions will play Nordhoff in the CIF-SS Division 7 Championships.

All Championship games will be played on Saturday, November 3rd.
