HS Volleyball: Temecula Valley Sweeps Great Oak 25-22, 25-20,25-16

Endsley, Mcbride & Amoy Power the Golden Bears Past the Wolfpack

Temecula Valley beat Great Oak in straight sets, 25-22, 25-20,25-16 to stay on top of the Southwestern league standings. The Golden Bears are 6-1 and locked in a battle for first place with Vista Murrieta.

The defending league Champion Golden Bears were led by

Madison Endsley, Peyton Mcbride and Jordyn Amoy. Endsley led the team with 14 kills and Mcbride tallied 10 more. Amoy had 33 assists for Temecula and blocked 6 shots against the Wolfpack.

We went on that court today very determined to take the win” said Temecula Valley Head Coach Rafu Rodriguez. “We knew it was a key game and the girls really stepped up and played very clean volleyball, good defense and specially good teamwork. Our tough serving led to Great Oak not being able to establish their middles. I’m Looking forward to a great tournament this weekend in the SoCal Hudl Invitational”

Jasmine West had 14 digs for the Golden Bears and Hailey Hinkel added 8 more. Makenzie Nutting cae up with 4 key blocks for Temecula Valley.

Temecula Valley will be in Murreta Valley on Tuesday, October 17. The Nighthawks are 2-5 in league play. Great Oak is off to Murrieta Mesa to take on the Rams.
