Lake Elsinore: Suspect Arrested for Credit Card & Identity Theft, Possession of Meth


On Saturday, August 17, 2019, Corporal Brown from the Lake Elsinore Station responded to the Launch Pointe recreational resort, located in the 32000 block of Riverside Drive, in reference to a fraud.

The investigation revealed Ricardo Campos, a 37-year-old, from Lake Elsinore, had fraudulently used the victim’s credit card information at the location.

Corporal Brown located Campos whom was also found in possession of a credit card making machine. Ricardo Campos was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on the felony charges of identity theft, theft by credit card, possession of a credit card making machine, and possession of methamphetamine.
