The Chargers Play their First Pre-season Game for their New City

A New Dawn has arrived for Charger fans. The Franchise will play its first game away from San Diego as the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers will face the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday at the StubHub Center in Carson.

The Seahawks ended last season with a record of 10-5-1 and Seattle is once again considered one of the favorites to reach the Super Bowl this season. Quarterback Russell Wilson returns and is healthy and ready for the new season. The Seahawks are counting on running back Eddie Lacy to revive their mediocre running game this season. The defense should be strong and ready to dominate again.

The Chargers record for their last season in San Diego was 5-11. This was their second consecutive losing season. The Chargers are hoping that new coach Anthony Lynn will bring new life to the Franchise.

Pro Bowler Philip Rivers begins his 14th season as quarterback and leader of the Bolts’ high-flying attack. He had another great year in 2016, throwing the second most TD passes (33) of his career and set the team record in passing yards. Keenan Allen is back this season as is Melvin Gordon’s return after suffering an injury last season.
