March Field turns 100 in 2018…Come Celebrate at the Air Show & Visit the Museum
March Field turns 100 in 2018, and a great show is being planned at March Air Reserve Base and the World Renowned US Air Force Thunderbirds will be the headliners. The show is named “Thunder Over the Inland Empire“.
The Thunderbirds will be flying their F-16 Fighting Falcons in acrobatic formations. There will also be a solo U.S. Navy F-18 Hornet tactical demo, a mock Korean War dogfight between an F-86 Sabre and a Russian MiG-15, and a performance from the US Army’s famous Golden Knights Parachute team.
The Show is in the weekend of April 7-8. Base gates open at 8 a.m., and flying starts at 11 a.m. The show ends after the USAF Thunderbirds perform at 6 pm each day. Exhibits and other activities will be available on-Base.
