On Saturday, January 26, 2019, the Menifee Police Department began an investigation into the death of a five-week-old infant girl. The infant was transported to an area hospital by her biological parents from their residence on the 28000 block of Avenida Marbella, Menifee. The infant’s biological mother; 27-year-old, Jasmine Rugga, was arrested for Child Endangerment. Both were transported to the Cois Byrd Detention Center where Gregory Brandt is held on $1,000,000 bail, and Jasmine Rugga is held on $35,000 bail.
