Murrieta: A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrating the Opening of the Clinton Keith Road Extension Project is Friday, July 27


A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the end of the Clinton Keith Road Extension Project. The event is set for 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 27 and the public is welcome to stop by as early as 8:30. The ceremony will be conducted at the the eastern edge of the Clinton Keith Road Extension Project, near Leon Road.

The extension of Clinton Keith Road from Whitewood to Leon Road will provided 6 travel lanes. It is projected that this extension of Clinton Keith will have an approximate average daily volume of 14,000 vehicles per day at opening day. The long range projection for Clinton Keith Road from I-215 to SR 79 is approximately 35,000 vehicles per day.

The new Clinton Keith Road Extension will accommodate traffic to move from the 15 and 215 freeways to Winchester Road. Current alternate streets are Murrieta Hot Springs or Scott Roads .
