Murrieta: Two Arrested as Probation Search Turns Up 19 Weapons & Narcotics



On 5/16/18 at approximately 8:48 a.m. members of the Murrieta Police Department Parole and Probation Compliance Team (PPCT) and Special Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a probation search at a residence located on the 42500 block of Sauternes Lane.

The resident, Teresa O’Donnell is on probation with search terms for theft related charges. During the search, officers contacted Ms. O’Donnell and two additional male adults. 

Officers searched the residence based upon the terms of Ms. O’Donnell’s probation and located 19 guns, thousands of rounds of ammunition, heroin, and narcotics paraphernalia.

The terms of Ms. O’Donnell’s probation prohibit her from having access to any weapons. Ms. O’Donnell was placed under arrest for violating her probation as well as being in possession of heroin and narcotics paraphernalia.

Steven Fritz, one of the two males contacted, was also placed under arrest for the possession of heroin and narcotics paraphernalia.

Ms. O’Donnell and Mr. Fritz were booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center without incident. The second male contacted at the residence was released at the scene.
