Officers from the Perris Police Department responded to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Perris Blvd, in the city of Perris. Marko Piatkowski was travelling east on Ramona Expressway when he made a sudden lane change and struck a stopped vehicle, which in turn collided into another vehicle.
No injuries were reported, however, Piatkowski was determined to be driving while impaired by alcohol.
Piatkowski had his 2 year old child with him in the vehicle, and fortunately the child did not suffer any injuries. The child was released to family members. Piatkowski received a medical clearance at a local hospital before being booked for DUI and Child Endangerment at the Robert Presley Detention Center.
