Perris: Motorcycle Collision Kills 25 Year Old Friday Night

Perris, CA – Officers from the Perris Police Department responded to a traffic collision on West 4th Street, just west of Park Ave, in the city of Perris Friday night. The preliminary investigation showed a motorist, a 54-year-old resident of Perris, was travelling westbound on West 4th Street and came to a stop in the center median.

The motorist attempted to cross the two westbound lanes into a driveway of a business when she was struck by a motorcyclist, a 25-year-old resident of Perris, travelling westbound on West 4th Street. The motorcyclist sustained major injuries, was transported to a local hospital, and died from his injuries.

The motorist did not sustain any injuries and was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The Perris Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to the location and assumed the investigation. The westbound number two lane of West 4th Street was closed temporarily during this investigation and re-opened to traffic at 11:45 pm.
