Perris: Three Adults & a Juvenile Arrested on Drug & Felony Gun Charges


On Thursday, January 11, 2018, about 9:00 PM, Perris Special Enforcement Team Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop near the intersection of A Street & Nuevo Road in the city of Perris. The driver was an unlicensed 17 -year-old juvenile male.

The passenger, Juan Pablo Lopez (37-year-old of Good Hope), was found in possession of an unregistered, loaded .40 caliber handgun and over 7 grams of methamphetamine. Lopez was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on felony gun and drug charges; the juvenile was released with a traffic citation to family members.

On Friday, January 12, 2018, officers obtained a search warrant for Lopez’s residence, located within the 21000 block of Olive Avenue in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Good Hope  Officers served the search warrant, which resulted in the seizure of a loaded, unregistered AR-15 rifle with an extended magazine and a loaded, unregistered 9 mm handgun.

Pablo Noel Ayala (19-year old of Good Hope), Ivan Flores Guzman (23-year-old of Good Hope), and the same 17-year-old juvenile male were arrested for felony gun charges. Ayala and Guzman were booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center; the juvenile was booked at the Southwest Juvenile Detention Center.
