Perris: Vehicle Stop Leads to Arrest for Possession of Meth & Drug Paraphernalia


On Monday, June 10, 2019, at approximately 11:00 PM, deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s station performed a vehicle stop on a Toyota Camry for expired registration in the area of Baxter Street and Terrace Avenue, in the unincorporated area of Perris.

The passenger in the vehicle, Frank Alvarez, age 48, a resident of the unincorporated area of Perris, was found to be in possession of 13.5 grams of methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe.

Alvarez was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Alvarez was booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center.
