Pine Cove: Clerk Accused of Embezzling over $100,000 from a Market over Eight Months

In June of 2018, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, Hemet Station, began investigating a complaint of a possible embezzlement occurring at the Pin Cove Market, 23235 Highway 243, Pine Cove.

The initial report claimed there was an abnormally large amount of money that could not be accounted for missing from business. The Hemet Station Investigation Bureau received the case and began Investigating.

Further investigation revealed, Vincent Gillman, 50 years of age from Pine Cove, who is an attendant at the market, had been stealing cash from the register and ATM machine on a routine basis. It is believed Gillman has embezzled over $100,000.00 in an eight-month time period.

Vincent Gillman was arrested and booked into the Larry Smith Correctional Facility on suspicion of PC 503 – Embezzlement.
