Riverside: Man Arrested at the Galleria Mall Thursday for Indecent Exposure


Last week on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at about 5:50 p.m., several people called the Riverside Police Department’s Emergency Dispatch Center, along with the Galleria at Tyler’s security team, regarding a male suspect committing indecent exposure at the shopping mall, located at 1299 Galleria at Tyler in Riverside.

Mall security officers quickly located the suspect and escorted him outside the shopping center until a Riverside Police officer assigned to the Galleria arrived soon after.

Mall security and police located numerous witnesses who identified the detained suspect as purposely exposing himself in a lewd manner to victims in the food court area. Jimmy Sutalo, 45-years-old of Riverside, was arrested and later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for indecent exposure.

Based on this investigation, it is believed this suspect may have committed similar acts in the past.
