Riverside: Police Seeks Assistance in Identifying Suspect in this Video…Sought in 2 Hit-and-Runs


DO YOU RECOGNIZE THIS HIT AND RUN SUSPECT?On May 15, 2019, at around 3:45 pm, a hit and run occurred on the 60/215 Freeway near Riverside’s Eastside neighborhood. The suspect vehicle exited the freeway at Blaine at a high rate of speed, crossing all lanes, where it collided with a van on the opposite corner, knocking the van onto the sidewalk where several teens were walking. It is thought the van may have struck at least one of the teens, but the teens left before police arrived. The suspect removed his dog from his vehicle then walked away from the scene. Several bystanders followed the suspect using their phones to possibly capture videos or photos, until he ran and jumped over a fence into an apartment complex.The suspect is an African-American male in his 20’s, with a short afro style haircut. He was wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, and black shoes. Police are asking the public’s assistance to identify a suspected Hit and Run driver. 
On May 15, 2019, at around 3:45 pm, a hit and run occurred on the 60/215 Freeway near Riverside’s Eastside neighborhood.
