Riverside: Three Suspects in Drive-By Shooting Located & Arrested

On January 11, 2017, at about 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the area of Arlington Avenue and Coolwater Drive regarding a possible shooting.

Upon arrival, officers learned that a vehicle had pulled alongside another and fired several rounds from a handgun at it and fled. Officers were informed by Dispatch that Riverside County Sheriff Deputies had stopped a vehicle matching the description of the shooting suspect vehicle, and had three subjects detained in the City of Norco.

The suspects and suspect vehicle were positively identified. Evidence related to the shooting was located as well as illegal narcotics.

A male adult and male juvenile were identified as the shooting suspects. Gage Hilton, 24-year-old of Riverside, was arrested and later booked into jail for attempted murder. The male juvenile was arrested and later booked into juvenile hall for attempted murder. A third subject, Christopher Castillo, 22-year-old of Riverside, was arrested and later booked into jail for outstanding warrants.
