Roller Derby: Temecula’s Wine Town Rollers Host the San Diego Electras February 23rd

The Wine Town Rollers, Temecula Valley’s own Roller Derby team, will be hosting a bout with the San Diego Electras on Saturday, February 23rd at Margarita Community Park in Temecula.

Doors open at 4:30 pm and the Grapes of Wrath will be ready to take on the San Diego Electras. The Game begins at 5:30 p.m.

The Prison City Derby Dames will also be on hand Saturday Night. The Dames will present the Battle of the IE Tournament 2018 Championship trophy to the Wine Town Rollers. The tenacious junior derby skaters can’t wait to show off for you at halftime!

Entry is free, however donations are accepted in-person at the game or online at Please bring your favorite folding chair and snacks and you can pick your spot next to the track.

WTR is devoted to the hard-hitting world of women’s flat-track roller derby and is a full member league of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). The league is currently represented by the WFTDA charter travel team, the Whine Makers, and our local travel team the Grapes of Wrath.

WTR also has a 16-week Raisinette training program for new skaters learning skating skills and the game of roller derby, as well as a junior league for boys and girls ages 7-17, the Juice Box Crushers.
