SoCal: Clear the Shelters Event…Give a Pet a Loving Home on Saturday, August 17

Hundreds of animal shelters across the country for National Clear the Shelters event to be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019.

Clear the Shelters was created to help address the overcrowding of animal shelters and raise awareness about the benefits of adopting from a local animal shelter. Across the country, over 100,000 pets found their forever homes during the 2018 Clear the Shelters event.

Please take part in making this year’s event a successful one by adopting a homeless pet and giving it a forever home.

At the shelters operated by the county in Jurupa Valley, San Jacinto and Thousand Palms, organizers are offering a special “name-your-adoption-donation” — whatever amount, how little or great, the adopter chooses.

In Corona, all adoptions will only be $20, which includes the cost of spay/neuter. Normal dog licensing fees and microchipping fees still apply, if applicable.
