The 2019 Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival poster is now on sale. It is an abstract creation by local artist Lisa Owen. Owen is known for painting live during weddings and major events around the valley.
“I am inspired daily by the stunning countless vistas in and around the Temecula Valley,” stated Owen about her unique style.
“I characterize my style as ‘guerilla painting.’ I have an aggressive high energy brush stroke. I do not map out my canvases, I just paint. I do not want my paintings to look like photographs,” she explained
“This poster captures many of my passions – wine, sunshine, dance, community and celebration. The balloon and wine festival definitely feeds them all,” Owen stated about her artwork.
Owen has been featured in the New York Times for her live wedding painting work and recently captured the celebrity wedding of Weston Cage-Coppola. She has illustrated four books and has been the featured artist at the Temecula Street Painting Festival.
