Temecula: Crash between a Pickup Truck & a Riverside County Fire Department Truck sends Two Firefighters to the Hospital


A crash between a pickup truck and a Riverside County Fire Department Truck sent two firefighters to the hospital on Monday evening with minor injuries.

CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Engine 92, from Wolf Creek Fire Station 92, was involved in a traffic collision in front of the Fire Station. The station is located at the 32000 block of Wolf Valley Road in Temecula. The crash was reported just before 10 pm.

Witnesses said that a female driver of the pickup hit the truck and caused visible damage to a rear lower tool box. The woman declined medical treatment at the scene.

Northbound lanes of Wolf Valley Road were blocked for almost two hours due to the crash. There is no current information on the two firefighters that were transported to the hospital for evaluation
